Dana & Gus are one of the sweetest, most elegant couples we’ve ever worked with, and they’re invitations exuded not only their lovely attitudes, but they’re AMAZING wedding. Their black tie event brought in soft details to their rustic venue for an elegant and romantic evening. We love the touches of gold foil combined with black letterpress and light tan accents – a killer neutral palette is always a good idea.
On this next installment of wedding inspiration, we bring you “Rustic Colorado”. We love how this aesthetic can be translated into a variety of ways. For some it means the bridal party is in cowboy boots. For others it means traditional elements with a mountain or barn backdrop. Either way, we love seeing how each bride re-interprets the term. Teaming up with some of our local faves, we bring our take on Rustic Colorado. This gown by Celestina Agostino found at anna bé is the perfect touch of whimsy and vintage. Paired with the rich hues and dramatic florals from The Perfect Petal this bride is sure to turn heads when walking down the isle. To prep guests on what to expect, the mountain themed invitation (provided by yours truly) clearly say “you are in for a memorable time”.
We’d love to help you with your vision of a rustic colorado wedding! Let us know how we can help with save the dates, invitations or day of pieces. We look forward to seeing you at your next appointment!
What happens when you have two beautiful people, majestic mountains, a marriage and an amazing photographer? Well it’s quite simple. Amazing things happen. Take a look for yourself and be prepared to oo and ahh.
We had the privilege of working with Beth and Curt on their wedding invitations. They were fully embracing the beauty of the Rocky Mountains for their wedding but still wanted to stay true to their style. The goal was to make invitations that represented the mountain wedding without being too western or country. We found the perfect combination with kraft paper, classic fonts and a hint of vintage decals. We love the way their invitations turned out and really enjoyed working with them. Congrats Beth and Curt!
From the Bride: We wanted a wedding to truly celebrate with our friends and family. Something that was casual and fun with lots of dancing. When Greg and I wrote our ceremony we wanted it to be specific to our relationship with each other and a chance to thank all of our friends and family who have support our relationship over the years.
How we met:Greg and I met in high school and had our first official date at our Senior Homecoming Dance. Greg and I then dated for 9 1/2 years before we got engaged on the fourth of July at my parents cabin in Montana.
