wordshop wedding: dana & gus

Dana & Gus are one of the sweetest, most elegant couples we’ve ever worked with, and they’re invitations exuded not only their lovely attitudes, but they’re AMAZING wedding. Their black tie event brought in soft details to their rustic venue for an elegant and romantic evening. We love the touches of gold foil combined with black letterpress and light tan accents – a killer neutral palette is always a good idea.

We always say that the invitation is the first thing that guests see that tells them what they can expect during a wedding, and this couple’s story was cohesive from start to finish. From the gold foil on the black invitation to the clock tower ceremony to the sparkler send off, these guys got it right. Everything moves fluidly and flawlessly from one thing to the next. We love the moody and festive feel to the entire event – perfect for that Denver, Colorado winter wedding.

The diagonal layout is such a cool spin to a traditional invitation, and the postcard adds even more playfulness.

Seriously though, check out that foil! Talk about some drama.

With fall in the air and rain in the sky, we can’t help but reminisce on this dreamy summer wedding. Annie and Brian got married at the gorgeous outdoor venue River Bend in connection with The Lyons Farmette. The stunning landscape, outdoor dining and colorful wedding decor really made for a fun and festive wedding celebration. Annie and Brian wanted to capture all of these elements in their wedding invitation. We love the way it came together with equal parts color, Colorado and creative font pairings.

We had the privilege of working with Beth and Curt on their wedding invitations. They were fully embracing the beauty of the Rocky Mountains for their wedding but still wanted to stay true to their style. The goal was to make invitations that represented the mountain wedding without being too western or country. We found the perfect combination with kraft paper, classic fonts and a hint of vintage decals. We love the way their invitations turned out and really enjoyed working with them. Congrats Beth and Curt!

Carsen & Benjamin

Some of the things we love most: our neighborhood, the people within and what we do. We take such great pride in creating custom invitations for each and every bride because there is a unique story to every couple, every occasion and every season. We want to help share that with the world. Yesterday, we received some very special invites which reflect just that. Introducing — Carsen and Benjamin. Carsen is the store manager for Kismet, the sweet little jewelry and accessories boutique stationed next door to us. She’s a sweet, mellow-tempered beauty who runs shop during the day and creates beautiful illustrations at night. When she came to us after Ben asked her to be his wife, we said ‘we do!’

Carsen had a vision in mind and we had the right printers and paper types to make it happen. She created and illustrated the complete invitation material, making a one-of-a-kind, personal invite.

Congratulations Carsen! We love you, your sweet skills and are so happy to be a part of this momentous time.
