wordshop weddings: kelley & benjamin

kelley came in with killer inspiration for her wedding and we couldn’t wait to work with her and ben. her “indian summer” theme incorporated pops of color and tons of antique elements, like pails for the florals and vessels for table decor. her invitations were no different – the coral, pink and green cards all tied in beautifully to the setting with the delicate floral design elements and soft script. kelley put her final touch on this ensemble with a bright floral stamp. we’re still obsessing over it a year later.20161009WeddingCeremonyCleveland-Meyer019

wordshop wedding: dana & gus

Dana & Gus are one of the sweetest, most elegant couples we’ve ever worked with, and they’re invitations exuded not only their lovely attitudes, but they’re AMAZING wedding. Their black tie event brought in soft details to their rustic venue for an elegant and romantic evening. We love the touches of gold foil combined with black letterpress and light tan accents – a killer neutral palette is always a good idea.

We always say that the invitation is the first thing that guests see that tells them what they can expect during a wedding, and this couple’s story was cohesive from start to finish. From the gold foil on the black invitation to the clock tower ceremony to the sparkler send off, these guys got it right. Everything moves fluidly and flawlessly from one thing to the next. We love the moody and festive feel to the entire event – perfect for that Denver, Colorado winter wedding.

The diagonal layout is such a cool spin to a traditional invitation, and the postcard adds even more playfulness.

Seriously though, check out that foil! Talk about some drama.

The celebratory sparklers at night coordinate perfectly with the entire theme – fun, festive and dramatic

Their venue had the most AMAZING spots for photos.

Letterpress Birch Tree Wedding Invitations

Working with Brittany and Dustin was such a treat. They were both so involved with all wedding details. They truly wanted their invitations to represent the beauty of the mountains but still formal enough to fit their venue. Having a wedding in Estes Park at the Stanley Hotel really set the tone for these letterpress aspen tree invitations. We love how these colors turned out too. Having clients who can see outside the box and embrace purple trees is always fun!

We also helped them with their menu cards and continued the aspen tree motif theme through their escort cards. Each table name was based off a hike they had done together and the calligraphy couldn’t have turned out more lovely. It’s so fun to see all wedding details come together beautifully.

Congratulations to Brittany and Dustin! We wish you all the happiness in your marriage
